Easy Dundalk winner set for French Guineas
Letters Of Note and Emmet McNamara winning easily

Odds-on punters had one opportunity to strike at Dundalk this evening and Letters Of Note easily justified 4/6 favouritism in the Elusive Pimpernel Fillies Maiden, winning for trainer Michael O'Callaghan and jockey jockey Emmet McNamara.
Previously fourth in a hot maiden at Leopardstown on Champions' Weekend in September, the daughter of Azamour quickened smartly in the closing stages to put national hunt distances to the places horses, beating runner-up Period Piece by five lengths, with six further back to Maira
Afterwards O'Callaghan stated "I was hoping she'd win like that as I've thought a lot of her all year. She ran at Leopardstown on Champion Stakes day and just lacked a bit of experience. She travelled well and was last of the bridle that day but greenness beat her.
"She's a big filly and has filled into herself and we'll aim her at the seven furlong Guineas Trial at Leopardstown. She has plenty of pace and the French Guineas would suit her.
"The Teddy Bear Partnership (owners) is myself and Noel Hayes (Commercial director of Tote Ireland), and Noel came up with the name from the dam (Boo Boo Bear)."
