Donoghue & Roi a great combination
Keith Donoghue got a great tune out of Gordon Elliott's Roi De Mee (9/2 into 3/1), an easy winner of the Dinform Beginners Steeplechase at Limerick.
The Gigginstown House Stud-owned French-bred son of Lavirco (sire of Mikael D'Haguenet) led after three out and he was steadied up by his rider at the last two fences on his way to a good eight length win over Gusda
Donoghue said: "He jumped well and he loved the ground. He is a nice horse."
