Cashelard coasts home for 39 lengths win

Cashelard Lady is an early contender for 'easiest winner of the year', following a rout of her rivals in the Promote Your Business At Fairyhouse In 2016 Mares Maiden Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, winning eased down by all of 39 lengths.
Ridden by Robbie Colgan, the daughter of Key Of Luck made all for a thoroughly impressive win. The mare never appeared in any trouble throughout to beat ten rivals (another was an early faller) out of sight and coasted past the bypassed final flight for an old fashioned 'distance' win.
Winning trainer Shane Crawley, who trains out of Tommy Carberry's old yard, has just two horses in training, and later commented “It's nice when they do it like that!
“It's all just rhythm with her and getting her out in front. Robbie gave her a grand ride and everything was good.
“We'll tip away quietly with her and she can handle that ground. We already have the black-type with her and will breed from her so we'll try and add a bit of value to her.
“I'm not hard on mine at home and she has improved on the track.”
