Bright Horizon slams his rivals
Bright Horizon romped away with the Irish Cesarewitch at Curragh by five-and-a-half lengths under a patient Colm O'Donoghue.
The winner kicked on over a furlong and a half out and quickly ended the race as a contest. What A Charm boxed on for second place with Swiftmarc and Endless Intrigue filling out the places in the 23 runner affair.
Bright Horizon was Aidan O'Brien's first Irish Cesarewitch winner and he commented: "He's a well handicapped horse. He loved the trip today and it suited him well.
"Colm gave him a lovely ride. He's a smart horse and he had some solid runs in the book."
