Baracas wins Dundalk's opener
Eoin Griffin's Baracas under Nina Carberry, made a winning debut in the opening race of the year at Dundalk today, the Birthday Race Sponsorship at www.racesponsors.co.uk Bumper.
Ridden by Nina Carberry, the son of Miesque's Son raced keenly behind the leaders in the slowly run race, eventually quickening in the straight to lead over a furlong out for a three parts of a length win over Shes A Singer
Afterwards Griffin stated "the slow gallop wouldn't have suited Baracas at all but he is a very nice horse and we like him a lot. I've no plans from here."
