Alfredo Arcano made a successful step up to six furlongs in the Linencare - Linen Rental Services Race at Dundalk.
David Marnane ’s charge tracked front-runner Fox Dream in the conditions race before pressing the leader two furlongs from home.
Connor King waited to press the button on the 8/11 favourite until inside the final furlong and he went on to record a cosy three-parts of a length win.
The three-year-old had been touted as a possible for the Meydan Classic Trial following his win over five here last month but Marnane ruled out travelling to the middle-east with him.
“He’s a lovely horse and is progressing away,” said Marnane.
“He won’t go to Dubai because he’s too keen for it. I wouldn’t like to be giving him much longer than a five week break.
“We’ll come back here for another winners race and the Lingfield three-year-old race would definitely be in the back of my mind.
“To me he’s still getting better and mentally he still needs to get a good bit better but he will.”
