The Dermot Weld trained April lost her maiden status on the 6th time of asking when coming home in front of The Irish Mirror Maiden under Pat Smullen.

Smullen was always prominent on the Rock Of Gilbraltar filly, improved to lead halfway, soon clear and kept on well to win an easy lengths 5 lengths.

Winning trainer Dermot Weld was absent.
