Local trainer Mark McNiff landed the Sligo feature - the Francie "Banger" Burns Memorial Handicap Hurdle - with 13-2 shot Adimelo
Derek Fox 's mount picked off strong-travelling Iamastartoo at the last and forged on by seven lengths. Dawn Raider (11/2) came through for second as Iamastartoo (9/2) weakened to third.
Mark McNiff said: “He ran very well here the last day and the extra bit of distance probably helped tonight.
“He ran well in Galway in a fierce competitive race and on paper his last run would have been nearly good enough to win.
“The bit of rain probably helped with his age. He might go back for a chase now.”
