We never doubted that we had him peaking for the right time. We were happy with his last run in Navan on ground that he absolutely hates. I knew the way he was going today, it would take a good horse to get by him. We had the faith and knew what this horse could show. There’s no better horse than Tiger Roll to silence the doubters. He’s a sensation — words cannot describe what he is. He means so much to the team at home. Some people might have lost a bit of faith after his last few runs, but we retained all the faith we had in him and knew he still retained plenty of fire in his belly. He showed it there today. I suppose he disappointed here in November and then had a run over hurdles. Neither of those runs were too encouraging, but he tells you when he’s feeling alive at home and he loves coming to Cheltenham and coming up that hill and the sun on his back. He showed what ability he has today to turn the tables on Easysland from last year. He’s been a revelation for Keith and Davy Russell, of course, winning two Grand Nationals. He showed real enthusiasm and sweetness for the game today.

We’re lucky enough that we’ve got a good bunch of owners and a good bunch of horses. We’ll keep smiling and keep kicking. This horse has won at four Cheltenham Festivals now and a Grand National. He’s our first winner of the week and I won’t forget him. In his last run in the Boyne Hurdle he looked as good as he ever was and today he was brilliant. I’m very lucky to have him. You win the Grand National by accident and we’ve won it twice. It’s a big ask for this horse to do it again, but what he has done there today has been brilliant and we’ll enjoy it. To win at four Cheltenham Festivals is class.

that's brilliant, I'm delighted with the way he ran. He's a great horse and he never lets us down. The plan is the cross-country race at Cheltenham and obviously the English National all being well. It was a nice surprise. I thought the two horses, Bless The Wings (which finished last) and him, would finish second last and last so it was a nice surprise. He's paid for himself for the year again. That's arguably one of his best performances over hurdles. I thought he would need the run badly, and we knew there was plenty of improvement in him, but he was obviously a bit fitter than I thought. Keith said he would come on from the run. He's going to be some horse to go for the cross-country race now and he should taking a fair bit of beating with a clear round.

This one is for Pat Smullen. I was speaking to him the other morning and he's as tough as nails. I really don't know what to say. It's unbelievable. Tiger Roll is a yard favourite. It's great for the yard, for Gigginstown (House Stud, owners), for everyone.

He hates everywhere else, but he loves Cheltenham. I wish I had a few more like him. He's a little rat of a thing, but he's the heart of a lion. He is a good horse and he has been very lucky for us. To win three races at Cheltenham is brilliant. He has been a great servant so I am absolutely thrilled and delighted. I'm delighted for Keith Donoghue as he had to lose 7lb to ride the horse. Today was his day. He is in the National so we will see and I will talk to Eddie and Michael (O'Leary). It's another winner here and that will keep them going for a while. It would be the Irish National, if any, as that is more prize money. He will definitely be back here next year as he is still a young horse. I don't know what it is about here, but it is brilliant. All credit to Eddie O'Leary as I wanted to take him out with the ground drying up all the time. He was right and I was wrong. We have been lucky in all the Nationals this year. Donagh has only had a few rides for us but has been very lucky winning the Galway Plate as well.

That was good - he's been consistent. We'll look at the novice chase in Galway now. He's one of the favourites in the yard. He's had his problems but he's back rocking now.

I wouldn't be afraid to be taking on Dessie's horse again and I think this lad could be the best of the Irish in the Triumph. Maybe there'll be something out there to beat him and you would like to have a bit more experience going there but I'd say he's not a bad horse.
