Fair play to the lads as they had to make the call not to sell him after he won two bumpers. He enjoys being left alone to bowl along in front and in fairness to Kevin he always said to step him up in distance but I couldn't see it myself because he was so keen over two-miles. Last winter he didn't go on the heavy ground and it wasn't working out for us. He went up in trip and letting him bowl along in races has suited and he wants nice ground. I think he will be a cracking horse over fences but we'll see where things go over hurdles first. He is electric to jump and I think will be the same over fences. He is a nice horse going forward. this is great for the lads, they're having great craic from it and hopefully they get plenty luck with him. We've had a great week, some of my horses ran moderately but had genuine excuses and we'll definitely enjoy tonight!

I didn't think we'd have to wait this long to win over hurdles and it is long overdue. Things didn't work out for him last season, he was second in a good few maiden hurdles, ran in some competitive races and ended up having a hard season. Things didn't work out in a valuable handicap at Fairyhouse and he came back wrong but the time off freshened him up. He is keen and forward-going but enjoyed tipping away in front today. He'll go to Galway for a hurdle next and then we'll see what happens but he might head on over fences afterwards.

I came here full of confidence. We had him in at Cheltenham and we were considering going over there for the bumper today but the bit of rain came during the week and we decided to run here. His first run was good when he was green enough and I think he’s progressed a lot at home. He’d matured and was thriving as we were going along. He’s a nice horse. He’s a horse that will be a lot better on deeper ground. The owners are from Athy and there is about ten or 15 involved. It’s great for them. He won’t run again until Cheltenham. He’s a horse that is going to progress with time.

He's a nice horse. He does everything fairly right at home. Hopefully he got away with that ground today as he's definitely a horse that will go with a bit of ease in the ground. We won't over-face him, we'll probably give him a little bit of time and go for a winners bumper in a few months time. We'll keep him to bumpers for the minute. He's bred by Padraic Ryan who has a good few horses in the yard. This (Money For Jam) syndicate bought him and hopefully he'll be a nice horse in time.
