Nightmare for punters as 40/1 shot gains fortunate win
Another Nightmare proved an aptly named winner for many when recording a 40/1 shock in division two of the Guinness Handicap Hurdle at Listowel. Fri 22nd SepSpring Street stays well to win for Flavin
The Pilgrim´s Handicap Hurdle went the way of 20/1 chance Spring Street in the hands of Darragh O'Keeffe. Fri 01st SepMighty Jeremy given Power-packed ride in Tramore
Mighty Jeremy confirmed his rich seam of form when routing the field in the second split of the extended 2m4f handicap hurdle at Tramore. Sun 16th Apr
After race at Down Royal Fri, 1st Sep, 2023 (1st)
He was good today, he has improved since the last run. We thought coming here today that he was in great form and working well. I told Darragh to keep hanging onto him, he'll jump real well. He has a sort of a Flat pedigree but the way he stayed going there today he hopefully might pick up another one somewhere. He's still only learning all the time. He has form on soft and today was grand as they got a lot of rain here yesterday so it was sort of summer soft. He would go on that but he wouldn't go on winter soft. They (syndicate) are from down the road so it is a nice one for them to get. They are just outside Belfast, so that is why I brought him up here in the first place. It is great to get one on the board for them.
J P Flavin
