She was good to come back from that mistake and he did well to stay on. We put up Barry because she had so much weight. She had been working well and we were hopeful. She won a mares’ maiden hurdle on heavy ground in Limerick last year and the handicapper never really forgot her for it.

She had a nice run the last day when she came home well and the extra trip suited today. The ground is testing enough and she'll be a nice mare to go chasing next year. I'll keep her to mares' company and we'll go for a winners' of one in a month's time.
