he was always going to be a big price coming out of a small yard but we were waiting for a bit of rain and thought a few days ago if the ground was safe, he'd take all the beating. The boys backed him at 40/1 this morning and my brother had a good few quid on him!. he's a real good horse and we thought we'd make plenty of use of him as he's a tough sort who would be hard to pass.
