After race at Wexford Fri, 5th Jul, 2019 (1st)
I was away on holidays (in South Africa) last week so my mother was at home doing all the hard work. She said to ride him today with a bit of confidence and thought he’d go very close. She’s not a bad judge!. He was creeping up all the time over fences, and we were keen to try and exploit the hurdle mark. Two miles seems to be his trip, and he’s gaining a lot of confidence now and hopefully we’ll get a bit more out of him. South Africa was the holiday of a lifetime. We did a riding safari for five days and also went to Victoria Falls which was amazing.

After race at Leopardstown Mon, 4th Mar, 2019 (1st)
my thought process going to the last was 'just get over it' because the only chance I have of beating Paul is if he comes down. It does happen the odd day, you wouldn't wish it upon anyone but you'll take the bit of luck when it comes. he's been tricky. He's one we've always liked at home but he's disappointed more days than he's ran well. He had a great run at Clonmel a few runs back but was a little bit disappointing the last two days. He seemed in good order at home but it would be hard to fancy him after a few of those little blips along the way but we're glad he's done the job. It's great for Patrick Hogan (owner and former trainer of the gelding).
