Gold Cup winning trainer Tom Taaffe bridged a gap of eight months since his previous winner when his Peoples Park landed the Hire2k Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, for owner J.P. McManus and jockey Mark Walsh. Sat 29th Nov
His experience counted and he jumped and galloped away well. He was entitled to do that on his rating and he got a lovely ride from Mark. He could keep going or he could go on his holidays. Either way, he won't be running on quick ground anyway.
