Champion Trainer Willie Mullins completed a treble at Punchestown today as his Augusta Kate made it third time lucky at the three big spring Festivals, when landing the concluding Listed Weatherbys Ireland European Breeders Fund Mares Bumper, under Patrick Mullins. Wed 27th Apr
After race at Thurles Thu, 26th Oct, 2017 (1st) 
She has been very promising in bumpers and we were hoping that she would transfer that ability to hurdle races and she looks to have. The second horse (Tara Dylan) was a good flat horse and I'd be happy enough with our mare to have as little experience of racing and to come up against the likes of that, and beat them. It looks good and she can only improve from that and we'll keep her to the mares' novice route. She was very green and it's hard to make your own running the first day and she made one or two mistakes but there lot's of improvement in her and I'm looking forward to her in the novice mares' ranks.

After race at Ballinrobe Mon, 30th May, 2016 (1st)
She is very good. Her work at home wouldn't inspire you but she is a different mare on the racetrack. She is obviously beautifully bred and she has handled that good ground fairly easily. I think she has enough speed to go back and win on the Flat. I don't know what the plans are with her, whether she keeps going or gets a break. She could get a break and come back for the mares Listed race at Navan and races like that. She already has black-type from the first day. I know Glens Melody went on through the summer and she won three bumpers. I'll have to talk to dad and see. She is a King's Theatre and definitely handles that ground very well, but Glens Melody handled all sorts. It's good to get the first winner of the season out of the way.
