The Arthur Guinness Handicap saw a very easy winner in the John Mulhern trained Few Are Chosen after she ran out an 11 length victory in the hands of Niall McCullagh at odds of 8/1. Fri 31st Jul
We're very pleased with that. She loves this place and handled the soft ground well,. She was disappointing the last day but had beaten these two at the Curragh on her previous run. On her day she's a very good filly. She's in foal to Dark Angel but we still have time to race her and we'll step her up to a Listed race probably.

We brought her to Galway for the Topaz Mile but she got no run and Pat looked after her,. Eimear (Mulhern) handed in her licence and very kindly sent her to us. She came to us good condition and a lot of the credit has to go to Eimear. She's a very genuine mare and as the rain fell her chance got better as she wants a good cut. The main aim is to get her some black-type towards the end of the year as she's a well-bred filly.
