After race at Gowran Park Sat, 16th Sep, 2017 (1st)
We're delighted with that and we've always liked this horse,. We probably made a little bit of a mistake stepping him up in trip too quickly as we felt he was more of a stayer. He has speed and he was a little bit weak at the time to step him up drastically, hence the run at Killarney. On his first run you'd have to fancy him today. Dropping him back in trip has done the trick. He's a brother to Elusive Heights out of a good mare that we trained, a group 3 winner, and he's only going to get better with strength and time. He's a nice horse. We'll have a chat with Patrick (Cooper) and he's a horse with a future. He's acted on that ground and we'll see what's left for him.
