After race at Dundalk Wed, 19th Dec, 2018 (1st)  I love that horse!. The race really fell for him because they went really hard. He's very good, and he's got a lot of speed, but if you've got to hold him up a bit he doesn't breathe, chokes himself and then doesn't see the race out. I don't think Robbie even got after him there because they fell apart and he just cruised through them. I said to Robbie if you don't miss the break by a heartbeat just drop your hands and if he ends up in front so be it. The minute you take a pull he just fights you and then it's game over. It's a shame there aren't a few more races for him. It seems to be when he hits that form he wins a few on the bounce. If I knew what I did to make him hit that form I'd be brilliant! After race at Dundalk Tue, 10th Apr, 2018 (1st)  Ronan said he got him out of a bit of a hole but I think he's just being hard on himself as it was another beautiful ride. It's funny that when sprinters hit form they hit form. The only problem is that there is nothing more for him for ages as he won't go on the soft. I think I'll just put him out now and he can have a couple of months break and then look at the back end on good ground and then aim at Dundalk again. He just needs that kind of ground. There are things over the summer but a lot of them are apprentice races. He takes knowing and a lot of apprentices don't get on with him. He's been very unlucky in a lot of apprentice races. He is the age he is and we'll keep him to races that Ronan, or some of the lads that know him, can ride him in. It's great to have him over the winter here also. Ms Sheila Lavery

After race at Dundalk Fri, 27th Jan, 2017 (1st)  He’s been in great form and I was a bit disappointed that he didn’t win the last day but things just didn’t go his way. He got a bump and grabbed the bit, and ran his race in the middle of the race. He has to switch off and drop the bit. Things have to fall his way but a lot of sprinters are like that, and you can run a race ten times and different horses will win. He’s a really good servant and loves his five furlongs. He’s sticking at it better now, and getting better with age. We’ll stick to more of the same, and hopefully the handicapper won’t kill us. I think he’s better on this surface than the grass, so he’ll have the summer off and come back here again in the winter. Ms Sheila Lavery

After race at Dundalk Fri, 13th Nov, 2015 (1st)  maybe he's got confidence after winning (at Dundalk previously in November). We always knew he had plenty of pace but things had to go his way and he was unlucky in running a few times. He's learning to breathe and, when you can cover him up, he's able to finish out. He takes his races well and comes home bouncing. I'm hoping to keep him going on the all-weather over the winter. Ms Sheila Lavery
