There was yet another close finish in the last at Killarney as Royal Admiral just held the late thrust of Danehill Quest by a head in the Dorothy Henggeler Memorial handicap. After race at Killarney Wed, 22nd Aug, 2018 (1st)
He has got tons of ability but you have to cod him into it. He is getting better and stronger with each run and he was just touched off at Leopardstown,. I'll look for more of the same and I'm hoping he'll come forward from winning now - sometimes they know they've won. Lady Kaya is due to run on Sunday (Debutante Stakes); they (owners) are very brave and she'll run in the same colours of my niece Joanne and John (brother). I nearly wasn't going to come here and was going to go back home each day but Robbie Colgan (her work-rider and jockey) just looked at me and said 'are you going to ride her out yourself?. We are minding her as best we can and it's all systems go for Sunday.
