Reports in which Celtic Man (IRE) was mentioned
Persian edges a thriller
Just five lined up for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Premier Nursery but the €30,000 event provided a thrilling finish with Persian Caliph just getting up in the final strides. Fri 27th SepReview bellewstown 6th Jul
County Hurdle winner Ted Veale returned to action with a smart show in an exciting renewal of the Eva-Tec Ltd (QR) Race at BellewstownSat 06th Jul
Celtic Man gets job done at Bellewstown
Hurryupharriet (led at least some of the way to the start) was eventually withdrawn after refusing to load in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden at Bellewstown. They eventually went off all of nine minutes late but favourite backers were still relatively satisfied in the aftermath as Celtic Man (his supporters will suffer a 15 cent rule four) got the job done under Fran Berry. Sat 06th JulReview tipperary 27th Jun
Pat Smullen completed a swift double at Tipperary when driving Johnny Lynch to victory in the Pride Of Tipperary Festival 2013 HandicapThu 27th Jun
Abba gets her just desserts
Leading first crop sire Dandy Man is responsible for some speedy types, including Windsor Castle hero, Extortionist and the Ballyhane Stud stallion had another winner that displayed serious 'boot,' in Abbakova in the opening Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Tipperary. Thu 27th Jun
After race at Bellewstown Sat, 6th Jul, 2013 (1st)
He's not winning out of turn. He'll get a good bit further, that's what he's bred for and I fancy he will. He's not really a five furlong horse. There's a listed race for him in Tipperary now. We'll think about that after seeing how he comes out of this. He might get a break though and then we'd step him up in trip when he comes back. The horse has a future . he has plenty of gears and I think he'll stay.
