It was a great pot and we knew he was working well at home, . In fairness to Lee Power we bought him (for £9,000 at Doncaster in September) with no owner and he took him.
Gordon Elliott
Andrew Lynch rode him in Naas over 2m3f and he was convinced he would have been hard to catch over two miles that day. It was unfortunate that he fell the last day but he was brilliant today. He’s in the race at Christmas at Leopardstown, and I’ll speak to the O’Leary’s and see what they would like to do. Hopefully he’s at that level.
Henry De Bromhead
we knew on his bumper form that he was a class horse, and he jumped really well. He coped well with that two miles but a step up in trip would not bother him and he obviously loves jumping. I’ll have to speak to Michael and Eddie (O’Leary) before deciding where he goes next.
Henry De Bromhead
That was good. I was fairly disappointed coming home from Punchestown the last day. He got injured last year and I was probably a bit too easy on him. I thought with the ability he had he only needed to be three quarters ready but in that ground they have to be ready. He'll stay in bumpers. We'll try and find a winners race and then, if we can, find a third one before he goes novice hurdling next year. We thought he was top drawer with what he was doing at home.
W P Mullins
