This lad ran at Sligo two days ago but the ground had completely gone for him. We had a look at him this morning and he was very fresh and well in himself so we decided to run him and he much preferred the better ground here. The owner is very keen to sell him so we've no definite plans for him.

It's nice to get a winner around here and we're very pleased. It's nice to break the bad spell we were having, the horses just weren't running their best. At the end of the day this fellow is just a handicapper and we'll try pick up something similar for him if we can get his ground.

He's turned a corner at last and he didn't pull himself up when he got to the front this time. We will keep him for Galway now, he ran well there before . We always thought a lot of him but he went a bit astray on us but he's coming back to himself now.

His homework has always been very good. If you asked me if he was going to win today, I'd of said I haven't a clue and as regards future plans I haven't a clue. Shane gave him a fantastic ride today. We were actually going to pull the plug on this lad after his last run.
