An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the 2 furlong marker when the winner, Obsidian Dream (GB), ridden by Liam Keniry interfered with Distant Rumble (GB), placed third, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Beltadaay (GB), unplaced, ridden by Kevin Stott.
Keniry was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed taking Mitchell slightly off his intended line, in turn causing Stott to take a slight check on a weakening Beltadaay (GB).
