Permission was given for Grandscape (GB) and Gavin (GB) to go early to the start.
The raceday privilege request in relation to Gavin (GB), trained by Joe Ponting, was late being submitted.
Ponting was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
Mr Josh Agar, the rider of Donya (IRE), placed fifth, was slow to remove the blindfold, resulting in the filly being slowly away.
Mr Agar's explanation that his grip on the blind had loosened, due to needing to straighten Donya's (IRE) head just prior to the start being effected was noted.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 3 furlongs out involving Uncle Bernie (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Miss Serena Brotherton, Gavin (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Mr Frederick Tett and King Christophe (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Toby Wynne.

Tett was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to shift right-handed without timely correction hampering King Christophe (IRE), which in turn made contact with the hindquarters of Uncle Bernie (IRE), causing that gelding to become unbalanced.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that King Christophe (IRE) lost a right-hind shoe.
