Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Rahmah (IRE) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
On the final bend, Callum Hutchinson, the rider of Aasleagh Fawn (IRE), placed second, had to take a slight check after becoming tight for room when awkwardly placed on the inside of Amanto (GER), placed sixth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Amanto (GER), placed sixth, had lost its left hind shoe and Mark Usher reported that Bird To Love (GB), unplaced, appeared to be in season.
