An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, when Spanish Aria (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Robert Havlin interfered with Society Guest (IRE), placed third, ridden by Gerald Mosse.
Robert Havlin was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he manoeuvered his horse right, when not sufficiently clear, causing Gerald Mosse to take a check aboard Society Guest (IRE).
