True Thoughts (IRE) wore earplugs.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Cold Fusion (IRE), which had been reluctant to join the other runners and line up, losing many lengths at the start as a result.
Dai Williams was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the mare had also exhibited the same behaviour at Fakenham on 19 November 2019, Williams was informed that any future similar behaviour from Cold Fusion (IRE) may result in the mare being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race, Dai Williams reported that Cold Fusion (IRE), which was pulled up, had a breathing problem and the Veterinary Officer reported that The Dawn Man (IRE), placed sixth, lost its left fore shoe.
