The Starter reported that Princess Of Lir (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 2:22pm.
Richard Fahey was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider why Billy Garritty, the rider of Princess Of Lir (IRE), had ridden back from the start when his horse had been withdrawn, ignoring the Veterinary Surgeon’s instructions.
The rider, Veterinary Surgeon and the Starter were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence they found the rider in breach, in that he had acted against the instructions of the Veterinary Surgeon.
Garritty was suspended for 21 days.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Fircombe Hall (GB), which started favourite and finished second, hung right-handed under pressure.
