he just missed out the last two and drifted over a bit on the run-in but he won well enough at the end. He's not the most straight-forward to train. They've done a great job with the ground here but it's probably quick enough for him.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the last 100 yards involving Dawn Raider, ridden by D.N
Russell, placed second and Spring Watch, ridden by D.J. McInerney, placed first, where it appeared that Spring Watch drifted across into the path of Dawn Raider causing the latter to switch. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. They did, however, caution D.J. McInerney for riding carelessly.
An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards (130 = 11st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall; not be less than 11st 10lb
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 4lb extra for each hurdle race won.
