Permission was given for Chasanda (GB) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when the winner, Manolith (GB), ridden by Robbie Downey, interfered with Dandizette (IRE), placed second, ridden by Sean Davis.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Manolith (GB)’s placing as the colt had passed Dandizette (IRE) quickly and always appeared to be holding the filly with there being ½ length between them at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Manolith (GB) shifted quickly left, before being corrected, carrying Dandizette (IRE) off its intended line.
Following the race, Sean Davis reported that the saddle of DANIDZETTE (IRE), placed second, slipped and the filly hung left-handed.
