The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight on the final circuit involving Milestone, ridden by Mr Josh Halley, placed fifth, Red Jacket, ridden by Mr P.A. King, placed third and Riquet The One (FR), ridden by Mr F. Maguire, unplaced, where it appeared Milestone made an outward manoeuvre and caused the incident. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Mr Josh Halley riding improperly and consequently suspended him for 3 racedays.
