It was noted that Vaxholm (IRE), placed fifth, jumped a discoloured patch of grass approximately 2½ furlongs out and became unbalanced as a result.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Tiberio Force (GB) which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Simon Whitaker was interviewed.
His comments that the gelding had appreciated being ridden more prominently on this occasion, in addition to further benefitting from the application of first-time cheek pieces were noted.

The performance of Midgetonamission (IRE) which started favourite and finished last of the six runners, was considered.
The representative of David Evans explained that the filly appeared to have been unsuited by the undulating track on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Midgetonamission (IRE) during routine testing, found the filly to be experiencing a prolonged recovery rate.
