Sacre Coeur (FR) fell after jumping the 7th hurdle which inconvenienced the winner Glimpse Of Gala (GB) and severely hampered Whatsdastory (IRE), placed fourth, which was almost brought to a standstill as a result.
In turn Tom Cannon, the rider of Wynn House (GB), placed third, was obliged to swerve quite wide in order to avoid the incident.
The performance of Stop Talking (IRE), which finished fifth, beaten by 30 lengths, was considered.
Jennie Candlish’s representative could offer no explanation for Stop Talking (IRE)’s performance on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
