Permission was given for Get Busy (GB) to go early to post.
Inside the final furlong, Fossos (IRE), placed fourth, edged left-handed, causing the rider of My Genghis (GB), unplaced, to take a check.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Fossos (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference in the final furlong involving Corellian Star (IRE), placed third, ridden by Hollie Doyle, Porterinthejungle (IRE), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
The Stewards considered that the interference had improved Corellian Star (IRE)’s placing as the filly lugged badly right-handed causing sustained interference to the fast-finishing Porterinthejungle (IRE) in the final furlong, who stayed on strongly to be beaten a diminishing short head, and revised the placings as follows: First- Hastily (GB), second- Porterinthejungle (IRE), third- Corellian Star (IRE), fourth- Fossos (IRE).
The interference was found to be accidental as Doyle took all reasonable steps to prevent Corellian Star (IRE) from shifting right-handed, causing Porterinthejungle (IRE) to be intimidated off its intended line and in turn, causing Gina Mangan to have to take a check aboard Coronation Cottage (GB), unplaced.
Following the race, William Carson reported that My Genghis (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed and Hollie Doyle reported that Corellian Star (IRE), placed second, hung badly right-handed.
