Permission was given for Winged Isle (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
Winged Isle (GB) unseated its rider on the way to post and cantered loose for a few minutes.
Having been examined by the doctor and Veterinary Surgeon on arrival at the start, both the rider and gelding were deemed fit to race.
