She ran a lovely race last year. I thought the ground might be a little bit gone for her, she is as lazy as hell,. If she turns out as good as her half-sister (Dolce Strega) she will be doing okay. She has a good way of going and she is very honest. She just realised what she was doing in the last 100 yards, and I liked the way she stuck her head down and galloped on to the line. We will try and find a bit of black-type for her somewhere or we might go for a winners of one or a fillies race. I might give her a bit more experience. W McCreery, trainer

The Stewards fined Paul W. Flynn, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Templemary Boy, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
