He's been a great servant to win three races. If it hadn't been on the outside track here I wouldn't have even declared him because he needs a galloping track. He'll go for something similar,.

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Oscar Lantern trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up. R.P. Treacy, rider of Cappacurry Zak, trained by L.Young, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired in the closing stages and was pulled up. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Cappacurry Zak, trained by L.Young, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a left fore shoe and coughing post race.
