An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Voi (GB), placed second, ridden by Gabrielle Malune, interfered with Vipin (FR), placed seventh, ridden by Martin Dwyer, which in turn interfered with Capriolette (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris.

Malune was suspended for 4 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift-left handed without sufficient correction and when not sufficiently clear, causing Dwyer to have to take a significant check at a crucial stage of the race and affecting his opportunity to challenge for prize money, and in turn causing his mount to make brief contact with Capriolette (IRE).

Approaching the final furlong the weakening Elhafei (USA), placed eighth, was left short of room when Capriolette (IRE), placed fourth, edged left-handed at the same time as the winner, Crimewave (IRE), shifted momentarily right-handed.

After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of any horse.

Following the race, Gabriele Malune reported that Voi (GB), placed second, hung left-handed, and Martin Dwyer reported that Vipin (FR), placed seventh, hung right-handed throughout.
