A fine looking mare, the grey Miss Fancy Pants opened her account over hurdles and continued the terrific run of her trainer Noel Meade in fine style. Ridden in typical Paul Carberry style the winner had 12 in front of her approaching the third last just after the turn in but accounted for that group with relative ease to go on and score by three-and-a-half-lengths.

This was certainly far from a strong four-year-old maiden hurdle but Miss Fancy Pants jumped well in the main and the winning trainers comments after the race were interesting, ?I am a small bit surprised as I didn't think she would be fit enough," said Meade before earmarking the Fairyhouse and Punchestown festivals as future targets.

Keep It Cool came from a long way back to challenge and ran around ever so slightly before jumping the second last in front. He was third last time out at Gowran Park and should have no problem winning a similar contest.
