Permission was given for Bedford Flyer (IRE) to go early to post and wear a red hood.

Permission was also given for both Grace Angel (GB) and Rhythm N Hooves (GB) to both wear a red hood to post.

The raceday privilege request in relation to Look Out Louis (GB), trained by Julie Camacho, was not submitted.

Camacho was warned as to her responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.

Leaving the stalls, the winner, Squealer (IRE), jumped right-handed taking Look Out Louis (GB), placed fifth, off its intended line resulting in the gelding bumping Miss Brazen (GB), placed third, and turning its hind quarters, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Squealer.

Approaching the final furlong, Grace Angel (GB), unplaced, edged left-handed momentarily crowding Rhythm N Hooves (GB), placed fourth.

Shortly thereafter Bedford Flyer (IRE), placed third, shifted quickly left-handed away from the whip, hampering Grace Angel (GB) which in turn gave a slight bump to Rhythm N Hooves (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Race 5 - 4:50pm.

Approximately two and a half furlongs out, the rider of a weakening POP WORLD, unplaced, preventatively eased in his riding after receiving a slight bump from TABUK (IRE), unplaced, which shifted marginally left-handed, placing POP WORLD awkwardly in between TABUK (IRE) and KENTUCKY BLUEGRASS, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Approaching the ½ furlong marker, the winner, HARLEM NIGHTS (IRE), shifted quickly right-handed despite the riders best efforts to correct the gelding, taking LERWICK, placed third, and HALE END (IRE), placed second, off their intended lines, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of HARLEM NIGHTS (IRE).

Following the race, Connor Planas reported that MERRY MINISTER (IRE), unplaced, was slowly in to stride.
