Permission was given for Bugle Major (USA) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute, and for Mekong (GB) to wear a red hood which was removed at the start, and to be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs after the start involving the winner, Fancy Man (IRE), ridden by Sean Levey, and Wolf Hunter (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Elisha Whittington.
Levey was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear, causing Whittington to have to take a slight check.
Following the race, Saffie Osborne reported that Mekong (GB), placed third, was slowly away.
