The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the early stages of this race involving Burmese Blazer, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fifth, Still Standing, ridden by C. O'Donoghue, unplaced, Bronze Age, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed fourth and Famous Affair, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed sixth, where it appeared that interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found N.G. Mc Cullagh to be in breach of rule 214 in that he rode carelessly. Having considered N.G. McCullagh's good record in this regard, the Stewards suspended him for 1 raceday.

For two yrs old only that have not won more than one race and that are EBF eligible and which had been purchased as yearlings or as two year olds at Public Auction under the hammer after 1st July, 2016 for E72,000 or less (the first sale after 1st July, 2016 to govern the price if sold more than once)
