Permission was given for Woobay (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Leodis Dream (IRE) to go to post early.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Our Absent Friends (IRE), placed second, shifted quickly left-handed, causing the rider of Brian The Snail (IRE), placed fourth, to take a slight check.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Our Absent Friends (IRE).
Following the race, Oisin McSweeney reported that his saddle slipped on Woobay (IRE), unplaced, rendering him unable to ride out to the line.
