Permission was given for Mrs Meader (GB) to be mounted in the chute and wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bend entering the back straight involving the winner, Lord Torranaga (FR), ridden by Hollie Doyle, Scheggi (IRE), placed second, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa, and Francisco Bay (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Trevor Whelan.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Scheggi (IRE), when running green edged left-handed onto Lord Torranaga (FR) which in turn caused Whelan to take a check on a free-running Francisco Bay (GB) as the pace eased in front.
