The Starter reported that Desert Lion (GB) started rearing and violently kicking out shortly after entering the stalls causing Brute Force (GB) to also start kicking out resulting in the two geldings being withdrawn and receiving Starters Reports.
The Veterinary Surgeon reported that as result of Desert Lion (GB) kicking into the stalls adjacent, both Hat Yai (IRE) and Clarion Lady (GB) received injuries and were withdrawn on Veterinary Advice.
The Veterinary Surgeon continued that all the remaining horses were checked and deemed fit to race.
