Permission was given for Malorie (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 furlongs out when Malorie (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ellie Norris, interfered with Tilsworth Jade (GB), unplaced, ridden by Marco Ghiani.
Being a 7lb claimer, Norris was accompanied by a senior rider.
Norris was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift marginally left-handed causing Ghiani to take a slight check.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Malorie (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ellie Norris, interfered with JOANIE’S GIRL, placed fifth, ridden by William Carson, who in turn interfered with Deadly Weapon (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Luke Morris.
Being a 7lb claimer, Norris was accompanied by a senior rider.
Norris was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to shift left-handed towards the rail without correction carrying JOANIE’S GIRL off its intended line and causing Morris to take a check off the rail.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Deadly Weapon (IRE), placed sixth, hung left-handed and Jim Crowley reported that Surrey Territories (IRE), placed second, was slowly away.
