Permission was given for Liseo (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that Liseo (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Simon & Ed Crisford were informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Approaching 1 ½ furlongs out the winner, Flying Frontier (GB) hung quickly left-handed, which caused Liseo (IRE), placed second, to be briefly short of room and the rider to take a check, which in turn caused Iron Lion (GB), placed third, to be crowded for room on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Iron Lion (GB), placed third, lost its left fore shoe.
