Permission was given for Nikki's Girl (IRE) to be mounted on the course and wear a red hood in the preliminaries, and for Caleta Sunrise (IRE) to go to post early.
Jack Duern the rider of Gypsy Whisper (GB), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from approaching 2 furlongs out.
