Cieren Fallon, the rider of Global Tango (IRE), placed fourth, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Cieren Fallon’s explanation that he had lost both his reins approaching the line and he felt if he had ridden the gelding out he may have caused interference, was noted.
Being a 7 lb claimer Fallon was accompanied at the enquiry.
Following the race Cieren Fallon reported that Global Tango (IRE), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
Charles Bishop reported that Ice Age (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed and lost its action.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Global Tango (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Jim Crowley reported that Habub (USA), unplaced, ran too freely.
